| The Band |
 It all started in California October ’04. On the coast road in a Mustang from LA to SF, Matt (vocals & harp), Paul (drums) and Snooks (bass) were getting into the good old Blues/Rock tunes you just don’t hear on British radio any more. The day was long and as time wore on, it became obvious that a hard-hitting blues band was desperately needed in Britain. By the time they got to SF, they realised that they were the guys to do it . . . |
 . . . and after bars, beaches, pool halls (hence the name) and tattoos they returned to the UK and hooked up with Dave (guitar) to start working on some of the ideas they’d been kicking around in the States. Those ideas soon turned into a bunch of hot tunes. |
 Now they’ve got their sound down and they’re ready to rip it up! |
 You can tell from the minute you hear 8 Ball that they’re old friends having a great time—they’ve known each other for more than a decade and they just feel naturally where the groove’s going. Paul and Snooks lock the rhythm down tight and Dave and Matt do their thing over the top—the result is hard, rocking British R&B and when you hear it, it’ll blow you away. |
